Our Services and Processes

We have the right people and the right equipment to get things done optimally. Below is a general synopsis of job content and sequence, based on an interior purge demolition. The process is modular for smaller jobs.
  1. Protections: We commonly perform provision and installation of site protections, and we are extremely conscientious about the effort. Many/most of our contractor partners trust us with this step.
  2. Doors & Trim: We prefer to start with the “soft” stuff – doors, trim, electrical fixtures, etc.
  3. Water Lines: DD is commonly entrusted with cutting valves and capping water supply lines where cabinetry and plumbing fixtures are being removed, and we perform this as effectively and with less expense than your plumber, and without the extra trade scheduling.
  4. Kitchen Demo: Removal of kitchen cabinetry, counters, backsplash, sink/faucet, appliances.
  5. Bathroom Demo: Showers are reduced to slab/sub and studs. All screws and nails removed. Toilets, mirrors, medicine cabinets, accessories, and anything else on this list in the bathroom are removed at this point.
  6. Frame & Drywall: Includes removal of walls, ceilings, soffits, flyovers – any wall system or drywall-only item on the scope happens at this stage
  7. Flooring: We remove all flooring types:
    1. Carpet, pad, tack strips
    2. Ceramic, porcelain, marble tile, including thinset/mudset base.
    3. Wood floor removal, including glue and subflooring as necessary
    4. Vinyl, linoleum, parquet, etc.
  8. Other: Aside from the primary demolition components, we also perform other demolition services, interior and exterior. These include, though not limited to:
    1. Wallpaper removal
    2. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing removals (ducts, conduit, electrical wiring, etc.)
    3. Lanai paver and pool coping removals
    4. Lanai cage/screen removals
    5. Landscaping removals
    6. Lath and stucco
    7. Block walls
    8. Outdoor kitchens
    9. Exterior doors, sliders, windows
    10. Closet shelving systems
    11. Window treatments
